okie dokie
pretty good day in general didnt get quite as much done as i had hoped, but i still got a lot done. had a slight set back in the beginning but we got it fixed and ends up working out, which is all that matters!!! got a bunch of errands done, which equals more things done on my to do list. and i got to go to WWE pay per view tonight at Starter's and unwide a bit. Prolly the last real relaxing night till after game. Have a couple drinks, have a couple laughs and watching half naked men beat up on each other, yep works for me :-) now i must sleep Current Mood:  satisfied |

less than a week to go god damn where does the time go?? seriously seems like 2 days ago that i was saying ah its all good we still got 4 weeks till game - lol i think i have purchased everything that needs to me purchased most game stuff is packed up have one semi major project that still needs to be done - involves cut and sewing and the likes, shouldnt take me more than an afternoon one minor project - duct tape and exacto knife, yea that can wait till im home from work some day beanbag bin is overflowing - yay for sewing while at work still gotta find and pack my personal stuff - that always waits till last though weapon repair is going well - one staff still needs to be refoamed and one sword needs a new thrusting tip, i think gotta send cast emails - yea that will be done tonight - they are easy - lol on a bright note though i only work 4 days this week then im off fri, sat, sun and monday for game - WOOT!!!! i got my aura unveiled t-shirt today - its pretty bad ass - gotta get that in the wash so i can have it to wear on friday - woot - kelley rocks - lol Current Mood:  anxious |

hoping the ball doesnt drop
game is a week and a half away and i am more ahead of schedule than i normally am. as much of a wonderful thing that is, i still have ton to do. nothing that cant easily be done, but at the same rate a lot. things have gone pretty smoothly during game prep, im really hoping that a huge ball doesnt drop on us and f that up!!!! everyone keep your fingers crossed that things continue to run smoothly!!!! Course the nervousness/anxiousness has started to set in....last game same emotions, game turned out great.... sooooo we will just have to see what happens on a great note though the costuming that jon and i are making for the broken wall mages are almost done and i gotta say they look freaking AWESOME i cant wait to see the guys in game all wearing them!!! ugh almost 4a - yea gotta go to bed toodles all Current Mood:  sleepyCurrent Music: led zepplin |

the speech
so in just over a week i will be the 'best man' in jon creveling's wedding - so of course i have been working on my best man speech. i have no clue what to write - i have looked at several different websites for advice but they all seem to be the same thing over and over. i want to say something memorable, without pissing on janelle, or making him look like an ass in front of his family. im sure i will come up with something, i just have now clue what. anyone have any words of advice for this first timer best man? been a while
well todasy is day #8 smoke free - it has been a battle but im doing alright with it - my lungs have been trying to get rid of all the crap that is in them - in the morning its as if i have a chest cold - a whole lot of not fun - but i would rather get rid of it now then be in an iron lung or on oxygen when im old not to much of interest going on - just dealing with other people dramas as usual - june and glenn have moved out of the house - so now we are cleaning up and switching bedrooms around getting ready for andy and ryan to move in at the beginning of august. work is going aiight - they have taught me dispatching and have moved me up to the hardest level of calls. makes things interesting - but there hasnt been any kind of pay increase or antying for it yet - my year is coming up in august so we will see what happens with that |

BEWARE: ramblings ahead
things have been going pretty good lately - yesterday (wednesday, im still saying yesterday since i have not gone to bed yet) was a very productive and fun day - my friend kelley picked me up in the am and we went down to diane's to work on some game stuff. i found what i was looking for while there, which was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. still cant find one thing that is kinda irriating, but nothing critical. it was nice to spend time with kelley, its been a while since her and i have chatted and laughed so much. while at diane's we went to chick-fil-a with diane and charleena (my youngest neice for those of you that are not familar with their names). chick-fil-a is great - especially since they are not as common up here as they are down there... mmmmm chick-fil-a - lehigh valley sooooo needs to get more - as far as im aware the only chick-fil-a up here is the one in the mall and i dont want to go into the mall just for chick-fil-a. anywho - after i got home i helped george fix his canapy and then got ready to go fishing. jon and i took the boat out. george let me borrow his fishing pole, since the ones my dad gave me arent excatly in the best working conidition and i have yet to buy myself a new one or get my dad's in working condition. jon and i had fun, we didnt catch anything though :-( BUT he did let me drive both the boat AND his truck - hehe his truck go vrooom - lol - it was cold out on the lake, when we were going back to the docks i had my hoodie and my winter coat on and i was still cold - i was even hiding from the wind behind jon - the wind was so cold that my eyes were watering and whatnot. then we went back to his place, put the boat and fishing supplies away and he took me home. and then i worked on game stuff the rest of the night. it was a good day today i had to work - blah - but it wasnt to bad - we were slow towards the end of the night and they let us go 30 min early - to bad they never let me leave early on saturdays - errrrr i hate working weekends so much - it is abou the #1 thing that pisses me off about my job. im thinking about getting a new job - but im stuck as to whether i just want to stick it out here for a little while longer - especially since there is a lot of time coming up that i need off - or start actively looking for something else - eh we shall see this sunday im going to see static-x at the croc rock - im going with jen, john k and deanna - weeeeeee fun stuffs ok im done rambling for now night all!!! I GOT A JOB!!!!
woooooooo hoooooooooo So I believe it was Tuesday I was contacted by Keystone Answering Service saying that they had received my resume and that they would like me to take an online test since they were interested in hiring me for a cusotmer service rep position. So the lady sent me the link and I took the test. The next day she called me back and said that she was pleased with my scores and would like me to take the 2nd part of the test. Yesterday I took the 2nd part of the test (which included math that I hadnt seen since high school, ugh). She called me back today and said that she was very pleased with my results on that part and would like me to come in for an interview. So I had an interview there at 3:00 this afternoon. She gave me a typing test (which I got 66 wpm with only 5 errors, i thought i could have done better, but i havent been doing as much typing over the past month and a half that i used to) anywho, she was very pleased with that. She was telling me all about the company and ya know normal interview stuff. She had me sit in on a couple phone calls to show me the basis of what the job is. When we were back in her office talking she got a phone call from her boss, who told her that she had the go ahead to offer me the position. So I was hired on the spot. The interview was just about 2 hours long, i do believe it is one of the longest interviews I have ever had. But i start monday. I will be working what they call 2nd shift, which my hours will be determined once my traiining is done. Oh and for the best part of it all - yea its freakin casual dress. This is like my perfect type of job, i dont have to worry about having business clothes, i can wear all my earrings without worrying about management throwing a fit b/c customers wont like it, and they probably wont have a problem if i dye my hair crazy colors (although i will make sure to wait until i am in there and fully trained before i even bring that subject up with them) i walked out of the building grinning from ear to ear. it is such a great feeling that they wanted to hire me before they even met me, just based on the 2 online tests i had taken. even though i havent gotten a paycheck yet it is still a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. i cant wait to start working again, i was getting very bored with sitting around all the time. well that is all for now Current Mood:  ecstaticCurrent Music: people talking |

WEEEEEEE
So I moved to Bethlehem July 1st. Have been busy getting myself organized, finding a job, helping other freinds move and trying to relax for a little bit. Its great to be up here, so much closer to most of my friends. Its weird to see people that I barely used to see once or twice a month, now being able to see them 2 or 3 times a week. I wont be able to go to XPI this weekend for a couple reasons, 1) i dont have a job yet and cant afford the $$ its costs to go to 2) my neices are being baptized on sunday and I would much rather be there for that and 3) its been kinda hot out and i do not like sleeping in the heat but as far as a job goes, i have an interview tomorrow afternoon at 3:30pm. YAY for my first interview in the area! Keep your fingers crossed for me! I really need a job. And plus Im starting to get bored without one. Time to get a routine back down. the move

yea you are reading right im actually making a post and im actually online amazing im still floored by it life has been needless to say, busy lately i move to bethlehem in less than 2 weeks i still have a lot of packing to do i still have to find a job for once i move the room mate almost never allows me on the computer anymore, which makes it very hard to job search and get my resume typed up and of course when i actually am 'allowed' on here its late and im tired, and those are not good combinations to be doing job hunting under anywho im sweaty, tired and hungry so im going to go fix those things take care and safe travels Current Mood: tiredCurrent Music: whatever the room mate is watching on tv |
